Join us!
We are a group of laid back yogis teaching some serious yoga and we want you to be a part of our team! Teacher training is a great way for you to take the next step in your yoga practice. Whether you plan to teach, YTT is a way for students to dive deeper and learn more about this beautiful practice and how it can affect every part of your life. We want you to find the freedom in being the authentic teacher that you are on and off your mat. This training will not only challenge you physically but also mentally. You’ll move from your old stagnant ways of thinking to limitless possibilities. You will grow in more ways than you ever knew you could.
We break our training into three parts: The Base, The Core and The Expansion (more info about each part of training below.) The three segments are developed to help you build a strong foundation so that you can grow and develop confidently.
The training is 10 months long, from February to November. Each month is devoted to a Yama or Niyama, the foundation of the yoga philosophy and ethics system. We offer a vinyasa based program. However, we introduce different styles such as Yin Yoga and Hot Yoga. O, and did we mention, we have the best group of Instructors in the city.

The Base
The Base will explore the foundations of what makes a strong vinyasa practice, body and mind. We will learn the history and philosophy of where the western yoga practice comes from. You will be introduced to principal techniques and methodologies of anatomy and physiology, and teaching beginners to well seasoned yogis. Our function for these two months is to build a base that you can stand firmly and confidently on, create boundaries that you can flourish in, and start to understand why stepping on our mats feel so good.
The Core
The Core starts to build and expand on the base we created in the first two months of training. We will dive deeper into teaching techniques, understanding body mechanics necessary for more advanced postures, and build onto breathing and mediation practices. The core is filled with CE workshops helping you explore different avenues to take in your yoga journey. From handstands to the art of yin yoga, there will be something for everyone.
Expansion
The expansion is all about getting you ready to fly into the rest of your life. In the last three months of your training, we will dive into the practices of meditation and the science of our brain and nervous system. we’ll explore How to free our minds and train our brains to live the happiest lives we can. We will continue to break down anatomy and physiology and teaching techniques of even more advanced yoga postures and methods. Students will have an opportunity to work with the community for their final practicum. We will talk business and get you ready to tackle the logistical sides of the yoga world that is usually not talked about. August creeps up fast and when it comes you will be ready to fly and party on!
